Dubois-Pike Federal Credit Union was organized in 1971. Unlike most financial institutions, we are non-profit, and we are owned and operated by our members. Instead of profits being returned to stockholders, it is given to our members in the form of higher dividends on savings and investments, lower interest rates on loans, and low or no fees for our services.
Each member, age 16 or older, may vote at the annual meeting in electing the Board of Directors. It is the function of the Board to establish policies regarding shares, loans, investments, and the general operation of the Credit Union. The Supervisory Committee is appointed to continually audit the Credit Union and its records. The Board of Directors and the Supervisory Committee volunteer their time and do not receive compensation for their services.
Dubois-Pike Federal Credit Union operates under a federal charter and is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration.
