This April, families are invited to take part in our Level Up Your Savings challenge. Open a Youth Savings Account in the month of April to get a deposit match up to $25* and a goody bag.
How the program works:

- *Dubois Pike will be matching deposits up to $25.00 for NEW Youth Accounts opened in April
- Next year on their Anniversary, DPFCU will make a match up to $50.00
- Ages under 12: Anniversary match will be made into their Youth Savings Account.
- Ages 12 and up: Are eligible to open a youth checking account with a debit card with transaction and limit restrictions.

- Age 18: The account will be converted to an “Adult” account with standard limits.
Helping kids and teens learn healthy financial habits early can make a lifelong difference. A youth savings account gives young members a safe place to save, learn, and grow with guidance along the way.
Teaching kids about money doesn’t have to be complicated. Here are a few easy lessons families can practice together this spring.
Save First
Encourage kids to set aside part of any money they receive before spending. Even small amounts add up over time.
Split It Up
Use simple categories like save, spend, and give. This helps young savers understand priorities and balance.
Set a Goal
Whether it’s a toy, game, or future experience, having a goal makes saving more exciting and meaningful.
